Forty-seven inches square, panels twenty-six inches high, and mesh the full height of all four sides. That last part is what you notice from the kitchen: you can see the whole floor of it from across a room, which a solid-panel pen does not let you do. The gate zips from the outside, there are two pull-up rings on the inside face for the weeks of standing practice, and pockets on the outer face for whatever is otherwise on the floor.
It has no base of its own, so it is an edge around the floor you already have. On carpet that is usually enough. On boards or tile most people put a foam mat underneath first, and a 59 by 59 inch mat leaves six inches of margin on every side of this footprint. In beige or light gray, each with its own price line below.

In a room
UANLAUO 47 × 47 in baby playpen where it lives
What is in a UANLAUO box
- The panels and the joints that hold them square
- A gate that zips from the outside
- Pull-up rings on the inside face
- Pockets on the outer face
- Suction cups for the underside
- No mat: this pen stands on the floor you have
Putting it down
- Standing it up
- Panels and corner joints by hand, no tools
- What it stands on
- Your floor. There is no base in the box, so a mat underneath is the usual second purchase
- Clearance to leave
- Allow a hand's width around 47 inches of panel so the mesh is not pressed against a wall
- The gate
- Zips from the outside, so a toddler inside cannot work it
- On a smooth floor
- Suction cups underneath hold the frame against boards or tile
It goes up on a bare floor faster than it goes up on a rug, and it comes down flat for the trunk of a car.

A mat is padding and a pen is a boundary. Neither is a sleep space: the federal definition of a play yard is a framed enclosure that includes a floor, and the enclosures here have no floor of their own. The Consumer Product Safety Commission asks parents to use products intended for sleep - a crib, a bassinet, a play yard or a bedside sleeper that meets federal requirements - and to move a baby to one of those if they fall asleep somewhere else. Neither a mat nor a pen replaces an adult in the room, and nothing on this site should be read as saying otherwise.
